Fourteen new prints by Jonathan Borofsky will be on view from May 4th through June 30th at Gemini G.E.L. at Joni Moisant Weyl. For the last decade, Borofsky has focused his artistic endeavors on public sculpture commissions, primarily in Europe. Despite this recent hiatus from printmaking, Borofsky returns to the American art world with a new series of lithographs and screenprints published in collaboration with the Los Angeles-based artist's workshop, Gemini G.E.L.

Borofsky's work is an art of contradiction. At once, it is simple and complex, unique and multiple, naïve and sophisticated. These new prints are not exceptions; they deal with the duality and unity of humanity.
